How to pay for my ride - Helbiz Cash (PayPal, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, Tinaba, or CASH TOP-UP)

In order to rent and ride our vehicles, users need to have a balance in their Helbiz Wallet or to have a valid credit/debit or prepaid card attached to your Helbiz account. 

You can choose to pay for every ride directly using the card on file, or you can choose to prepay for rides by adding the funds to your account. In that case, your Helbiz balance (Helbiz CASH) will be deducted after each ride you take. At the moment, the minimum balance necessary to start a ride is 10.00 Eur in the Helbiz Wallet.

You can always turn on/off the Auto-Refill option which automatically refills your Wallet balance. Purchased funds don't expire, and are non-transferable. 

To prepay for rides, just go to the Payment section in the Helbiz App, click on "Add funds",
and choose the top-up amount. You can add funds into the Helbiz wallet by using:

1. Regular credit/debit or prepaid card, or you can do it via
2. PayPal
3. Samsung Pay
4. Apple Pay or Google Pay
5. Alipay
6. Tinaba
7. Pay in cash

> Cash Top-up - Load credit onto your Helbiz Wallet through local partners. Have the cashier scan your Barcode, pay the amount due, and wait a few seconds for the credit to be automatically added to your Helbiz Wallet. Inside the app, under section Payment, there is the under section CASH TOP-UP. By clicking this feature to add funds to your account, a Barcode code will be generated on your screen. Through a store locator, located under the barcode, you can identify which physical store in your vicinity is integrated with this new feature (Esselunga) and then available to scan the Barcode from your app and accept payment of the voucher in cash. The credit will be automatically added to your Helbiz Wallet.

*Even if loaded in cash, you need to insert a card to your account so you can use the service. Otherwise, you must always have a minimum balance of €10 in your Wallet.
